Children welcome. A very hands-on museum with family friendly exhibits and activities. Children of all ages enjoy the museum. Accessible. There are a variety of authentic ground surfaces, some of which are uneven with steep slopes in places, and some buildings and exhibits have stepped access. The Accessible Bus, with a rear tail lift, is available for visitors who need it. If a disabled visitor needs a companion or carer this person is admitted free.
